Jews have returned to Israel from their dispersion around the world. And now we see more South African Jews returning to their spiritual homeland.
A ceremony was held yesterday at the Western Wall to give the new Israeli citizens their ID cards. There has been a doubling of Jewish immigrants, termed olim, comming from South Africa from 2008 to 2009.
The new Israeli citizens bring their Zionist pride with them.
"You know that South Africa belongs to South Africans, but once you move to Israel, it's the state of the Jewish people," said Mendel Kaplan, a philanthropist and leader in the South African and Israeli Jewish communities."
We are used to hearing of the modern miracles of Jews finding their homeland. The Fellowship's On Wings of Eagles ministry is being used to help fulfill the prophecies that promise to gather the Jewish exiles "from the four corners of the earth" (Isaiah 11:12)
In the words of Heath Ash, a 35-year-old immigrant from South Africa,"My life just started now"

where can I find this Heath Ash. I think it may be the same guy I grew up with and would love to get back in touch... Christine
