A sobering assesment from NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer:
"I am not positive about the world being able to stop Iran from fulfilling its ambitions," he said during a conference in France which was quoted by Reuters.
"It is a major challenge to prevent Iran from continuing to strive to get the bomb," Scheffer said, adding that his concern was "that the Security Council, as we speak, is rather incapable of coming to further conclusions on further sanctions."
it would seem logical, to me that knowing the intent of iran to obtain a bomb for the very reason in there own words to destroy israel , would be justified to use there bomb , to strike iran first. you know all the countries in the middel east have attacked israel, either individully or jointly , but have never been able to destroy her , this is no small feat for the israelis, consider the bible scripture, warning those who would fight against isarel to be actually fighting against god. the god of abraham, like it or not israel is gods chosen people & all christians are in this togeather with them

Israel is doing the only thing that it can do and that is to defend its country against terrorists. They have shown amazing courage and strength and restraint towards Gaza these last several years, even when the Hamas were shooting rockets at Israel they stood their ground with restraint. Most Americans know who the warmongers are and their name is Hamas. They are hatefilled people who do not have any understanding of what peace is or have the desire to live in peace.
