Using the Christmas story to defame Israel
For most Christians, Christmas is a season of peace and joy, a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Christmas may be past, but here's a disturbing new trend that all Christians need to be aware of -- the use the nativity story to cast aspersions on Israel. Our friend Dexter Van Zile of CAMERA writes:
Just as Naim Ateek has used the Trial of Jesus to portray Israel as a baby-killing and Christ-killing nation, some Christians have used the Christmas story to portray Israel as the modern version of the oppressive Roman Empire. It appears that no part of the Christian liturgical calender cannot be used in the service of an anti-Israel narrative that downplays Palestinian violence.

Everything that happened to Jesus was fore told by the prophet Isaiah, all in accordance to GOD's plan. At any time Jesus could have stopped it. He chose to die so we could live. NO ONE killed him, he chose to fulfill the plan of GOD. Just as we now work to fulfill the plan of GOD for the return of the Jews to Israel. Jesus died for you and me. So that there would be an advocate from us to our father, JESUS.
